CRIME Ashland man arrested on 85 counts of telephonic harassment Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Apr. 21, 2015 at 11:50 AM Posted Apr. 21, 2015 at 11:50 AM » Social News An Ashland man is held on the Jackson County Jail on four pages of telephonic harassment charges after numerous alleged attempts to get back in touch with an ex over the phone. Jail records show Richard Briggs Figge, 36, is held on 85 counts of telephonic harassment and a stalking charge. His bail is set at $435,000. Ashland Deputy Police Chief Tighe O'Meara said the charges stem from dozens of documented unanswered calls Figge made to an Ashland woman over several months. He declined to comment on specifics, but said the slew of calls began after some kind of breakup. "It's certainly a domestic situation that has soured," O'Meara said. Figge has no criminal history in Jackson County, court records show.
