UPDATED: Power restored to 1,100 Medford customers following brief outage Wednesday Jul 19, 2017 at 7:46 AM Jul 19, 2017 at 8:32 AM Update, 8:15 a.m. All Medford customers have had their power restored, the Pacific Power website shows. The outage was caused by a squirrel that got into electrical equipment, according to company spokesman Tom Gauntt. 7:46 a.m. The lights have gone out for 1,152 Pacific Power customers in south Medford. The power outage was first reported at 7:04 a.m., according to the Pacific Power website. A cause has not yet been listed, and a call to the company was not immediately returned. Power should be restored by 10:30 a.m., the site says.
