Small children can ride Thomas and Percy trains and older kids can operate the Hogwarts Express. An antique telegraph service and exhibits of full-sized and miniature trains, model-railroad layouts and historical railroad equipment also are available. The park is home to the Southern Oregon Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, the Rogue Valley Model Railroad Club, Southern Oregon Live Steamers, Medford Garden Railroaders and Morse Telegraph Club. Labyrinth Construction: Help build a stone spiral labyrinth from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at North Mountain Park, 620 N. Mountain Ave., Ashland. Free. Work gloves and guidance will be provided. Eyes to Burma Fundraiser: Ashland nonprofit organization Eyes to Burma will have its sixth annual fundraiser from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at Grizzly Peak Winery, 1600 E. Nevada St. Proceeds will go toward giving underprivileged children of Burmese refugees an opportunity to go to school in Mae Sot, Thailand. See www.eyestoburma.org.
