Allen's 23 leads OSU to victory By The Associated Press Nov 27, 2007 12:00 AM A A Cedar City, Utah — Ashley Allen had 23 points and six rebounds to lift Oregon State to a 66-46 road victory over Southern Utah on Monday. Talisa Rhea added 17 points, with 15 of them coming on 3-pointers. Allen came into the game averaging 15.8 points per game and extended that Monday night against the Thunderbirds. Allen was 10-of-18 from the field and connected on two 3-pointers while grabbing six rebounds in 33 minutes. Oregon State (4-1) held the Thunderbirds to 34 percent shooting and forced 20 turnovers. The Beavers led 28-21 at the half and stretched the lead to as many as 27 in the second half. Southern Utah fell to 1-5.
