Local Report: Duck Club meeting set Wednesday in Medford The Duck Club of Southern Oregon will have its first meeting of the season at noon Wednesday at J.J. North�s Grand Buffet restaurant in Medford. Film of Oregon�s football victory Saturday over Nevada will be shown, and an Oregon coach will address the group via speakerphone. Cost of lunch is $7. Youth hockey league slates Sept. 10 gathering The Rogue Valley Youth Hockey Association is hosting an open house for youths age 6-17 who are interested in playing ice hockey on Sunday, Sept. 10 from 12:45-1:45 p.m. at the RRRink.
