Jackson County reports 57 new COVID-19 cases By Vickie Aldous By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Dec 07, 2021 04:10 PM A A Jackson County reported 57 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday but no additional COVID-19 deaths. Statewide, the Oregon Health Authority reported 945 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and 31 more COVID-19 deaths. On Tuesday, Jackson and Josephine county hospitals were caring for 49 patients with COVID-19. Of those, 15 were in intensive care and six were on ventilators, according to hospitalization data. The Rogue Valley’s four hospitals had four open intensive care unit beds Tuesday.
