Medford police investigating an identity theft case served a search warrant at Robertson’s home on Thursday and discovered the remnants of a methamphetamine lab, police Sgt. Tim Doney said. While the investigation into the ID-theft case is ongoing, Robertson was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on a charge of methamphetamine possession. He was being held late Thursday on $5,000 bail. Assault — Deshawn Lemont Winzer, 18, of the 200 block of Berrydale Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Winzer on two counts of harassment, two counts of interfering with making a police report, fourth-degree assault and coercion. He was lodged in jail, where he was being held late Thursday on $24,000 bail. Assault — Jason Daniel Meerten, 30, of the 20700 block of Highway 62, Shady Cove. Meerten appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with two counts of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Identity theft, theft — David Gary Smith, 25, of the 1400 block of Craiglea Drive, Eagle Point. Smith appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with identity theft and first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance. Theft — Teresa Ann McInroy, 39, of the 200 block of North Ivy Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested McInroy on charges of theft of services, a controlled- substance offense and a parole violation. She was lodged in jail without bail. Theft — David Shane Gilbert, 34, of the 1100 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. A Medford police officer late Wednesday added 17 counts of negotiating a bad check, seven counts of second-degree theft, six counts of third-degree theft and one count of first-degree theft to Gilbert, who was initially arrested in February on charges of first-degree sexual abuse and second-degree unlawful sexual penetration. He is being held in jail without bail.
