All South Medford High students interested in participating in cross country, football, boys and girls soccer, volleyball, water polo or rally should plan to attend eligibility night with their parents at 7 p.m. Aug. 13 in the school’s auditorium. After an overview of the fall sports season, students and parents will break into groups and meet with their coaches. Eligibility packets and practice schedules will be available. Also, current school policies will be reviewed. Eligibility cards for fall sports practices, which begin Aug. 18, will be given if all paperwork is complete, sports physical is current and academic requirements are met. North and South season football tickets available Season tickets for North and South Medford 2003 football games are now on sale for present season-ticket holders at the high school activity offices after 8 a.m. Monday-Friday. Ticket prices are $6 for each game with a $1 voluntary band donation. North Medford season ticket prices are $25 for four home games, while South Medford is $31 for five home games. All seats not claimed by Aug. 22 will be offered to the public at 1 p.m. on Aug. 25. For more North Medford information, call Sheila Johnson at 842-3675. For South Medford information, call Leann Green at 842-3684. Press box seats may be available for all nine North and South home games for $54 on a first-come basis.
