The project will include installing more free-standing shelters for the animals, painting all the buildings, replacing broken concrete walks to ensure safety, re-grading the parking lot and other improvements. Contributions of more than $1,000 will be recognized with a sign at the shelter, a link on the shelter's website; a logo in the Chamber Newsletter, website and Facebook links, a logo in the SoHumane Newsletter; plaques on landscaping features; name recognition on radio/TV and in public presentations; and recognition at the project's dedication ceremony. Contributions may be made at www.gofundme.com/sohumane or via checks to the Rogue Valley Foundation with “Leadership Project” written on the memo line. Along with cash donations, there are also opportunities for businesses and individuals to provide in-kind services and by volunteering to help.
