Records fall as Phoenix swaps swim wins with Hidden Valley Feb 01, 1998 12:00 AM A A ASHLAND -- The Phoenix boys swim team remained unbeaten, while the Hidden Valley girls swam to victory Saturday in a dual meet at Southern Oregon University's pool. The Pirate boys set school records in both the 200-yard freestyle relay 200 medley relays. The 200 freestyle team of Michael Oxendine, Brandon Martin, Jason Sparks and Steve White posted a time of 1:41.66, while the 200 medley team of Peter Thornhill, Jake Helfrich, Oxendine and Martin raced to a 1:55.94 showing. Oxendine added wins in the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke. Hidden Valley's Anthony Pepitone won the 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. Kristen Heath was the lone Phoenix girls winner, taking first in the 200 freestyle. BOYS TEAM SCORES -- Phoenix 89, Hidden Valley 53.
