Not only did the junior ace toss a one-hitter, she made all 21 outs via strikeout as the Panthers defeated Willamette 12-1. Moore issued her only walk in the first inning and didn’t give up a hit until Willamette laid down a bunt to lead off the seventh. The Wolverines later got their run on a passed ball. Bailee Tatum’s standout year continued as well against Willamette. Tatum, who hit her third home run in five games for the Panthers (5-0, 1-0 SWC), belted a three-run shot in the top of the seventh inning to complete a five-run frame and give South Medford a 12-0 advantage. Moore, Tatum, Katie Meyer and Bekah Britton all finished with a pair of hits for South Medford, and Jaden Alexander drove in a pair of runs with a double in the fourth.
