Posted Aug. 28, 2014 @ 6:59 pm Updated Aug 28, 2014 at 7:39 PM »  RELATED CONTENT • Ice Bucket Challenge »  Social News City Manager Eric Swanson, left, and City Attorney John Huttl joined others throughout the Rogue Valley and the U.S. in taking the ALS ( Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) I ce Bucket Challenge on Thursday. Swanson's aunt had ALS, a degenerative nerve disorder also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, and Huttl's wife is currently battling the disease. Swanson and Huttl had buckets of ice poured over them outside City Hall.
