Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend December 21, 2005 Comets, Eagles do well at Reno Prep Wrestling RENO, Nev. — Two Crater wrestlers took first place in helping the Comets to a 14th-place finish overall at the Reno Tournament of Champions on Tuesday. Cody Clark, at 215 pounds, and heavyweight Charlie Alexander won their respective divisions for the Comets, who tallied 104½ points in the team standings. Eagle Point earned a 50th-place finish with 40½ points in the prestigious 78-team tournament. Eagle Point grapplers Jake McCoy (160) and Chris Platt (171) paced the Eagles, with McCoy finishing second and Platt third. Josh Smith added a sixth-place effort at 189 for the Eagles.
