Borror took the lead from eventual second place finisher Rocky Nash and won the Roger Haudenshild Honors Race. He swept his heat, trophy dash and main event. Borror collected an additional $200 in the Crack The Whip Challenge, charging from the back in both races. Dan Prewitt led all 20 laps to win the Super 4's main event. Eric Oahs out-dueled two-time winner Lee Doty for second. Brock Peters took the lead from rival Kalvin Morton on lap five and led the rest of the way for his fourth SODCA Dwarf Car feature win of the season at the track. Chad Cardoza won a battle with Morton for a second-place finish. Gary Anderson capped a Mini Stock clean sweep of heat, dash and main event by leading all 20 laps for his second feature win of the season. David Steele was a close second over point leader Bob Burkett. SODCA Dwarf Cars Heat Winners (8 laps) — Brock Peters, Josh King. A Dash (6 Laps)-B. Peters. B Dash (8 Laps)-Cody Peters. Golf OREGON PUBLIC LINKS: At Eugene, Medford’s Jake Quast leads the men’s championship division after firing a bogey-free 4-under-par 67 during the opening round of the Oregon Public Links Championship at Emerald Valley Golf Club. Tyler Nelson of Lake Oswego is one shot back after opening with a 68, and Calvin Green of Springfield is two back.
