The Oregon State Police reported that at about 10 p.m. Friday, a passerby spotted a Chevrolet Cobalt off the side of the road at milepost 1.5 on Lakeshore Drive. The OSP report says preliminary information indicates the 2006 Cobalt was traveling west on Lakeshore Drive when for an unknown reason the driver lost control of the vehicle. The car crossed over the eastbound side of the road, rolled and struck a tree. Both the driver of the Chevy, James D. O'Grady II, 21, of Selma, and the passenger, Aaron J. O'Grady, 25, of Cave Junction were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews. The pair were brothers. Lakeshore Drive was closed for several hours while the investigation was being conducted.
