White City VA to honor LGBT+ veterans By Vickie Aldous By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Jun 27, 2022 10:54 AM A A Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics, the Veterans Affairs center in White City, will honor LGBT+ veterans Tuesday. Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics, the Veterans Affairs center in White City, will host a march at noon Tuesday in celebration of veterans who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or other sexual orientations or gender identities. After the march, SORCC Director David Holt will raise an LGBT+ flag for the first time in the facility’s history at 12:30 p.m. The outdoor event includes a fair from noon to 1 p.m. celebrating LGBT+ veterans and showcasing SORCC services. Refreshments will be available. Registration for the event starts at 11:45 a.m. Participants must show a COVID-19 vaccination card or a negative COVID-19 test dated on or after June 26. SORCC is located at 8495 Crater Lake Highway.
