Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Advertisement Email Story to a Friend March 20, 2006 Vehicle law class pertains to cyclists Find out what your rights and responsibilities as an Oregon cyclist are during a free vehicle law class by Portland bicycle advocate and attorney Ray Thomas. Two sessions are scheduled for today in the large room on the ground floor of the Medford Central Library, 205 S. Central Ave: Session 1: 3:30-4:30 p.m., is tailored toward folks in law enforcement, planning, engineering and representatives of government. Session 2: 5:30-6:30 p.m. is tailored toward citizens who are cyclists or are concerned about cycling issues. Topics will include the rights and responsibilities of drivers and cyclists. Free "2006 Pedal Power" books will also be available. Call 772-9220 or email [email protected]. The event is sponsored by the Bicycle Transportation Alliance, Thomas’ law office, Rogue Valley Transportation District’s Way To Go Program, Siskiyou Velo Club and Sims Cycle and Fitness.
