Final qualifying will run today until noon, with elimination rounds to follow. The event is a round of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series that features top alcohol dragster and top alcohol funny car competitors. After two rounds of qualifying, Hillary Will of Scotia, Calif., is in the No. 1 spot, while Bucky Austin of Fife, Wash., is leading in top alcohol funny car. Top qualifiers in other classes are John Mihovetz, Ontario, Calif., in comp eliminator; Steve Wann, Modesto, Calif., in super stock; and Tommy Gaynor, Vancouver, Wash., in stock eliminator.
