Animal Shelter to hold volunteer orientation Friday Dec 30, 2016 at 3:25 PM Dec 30, 2016 at 3:25 PM Anyone interested in being part of a local organization that helps enrich the lives of shelter pets can learn more next weekend at the Jackson County Animal Shelter. The Jackson County Friends of the Animal Shelter group will hold a new volunteer orientation at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7 at their facility, 5595 Highway 99, Phoenix. Attendees can learn about all opportunities available. Call 541-774-6654 to reserve a seat. There are only 15 spots available. More information is also available at www.fotas.org.
