Zumba party will benefit 4-year-old transplant candidate Jun 08, 2015 12:00 AM A A Moxie Dance Studio and Fitness Center, 841 W. Stewart Ave., Suite 9, Medford will host a Zumba party fundraiser on Friday, June 12 for 4-year-old Helen Lynn, who has end-stage kidney failure and is awaiting a potential transplant. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. and all proceeds will be donated directly to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association for Helen. In the summer of 2013 Helen was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease after an e. coli infection. Doctors at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland have recommended a life-saving kidney transplant and an estimated $75,000 is being raised by Medford volunteers.
