Ashland Police and Fire Jan 23, 2006 12:00 AM A A Sunday 4 p.m. & White GMC Sonoma pickup truck stolen from a parking lot, 500 block of Park Street. The theft occurred between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday. Sunday 3:41 a.m. & Ashland man, 25, intoxicated and taken to Medford detox. He was found slumped in the driver& s seat of a vehicle with the engine running on First Street and Will Dodge Way. Sunday 3:40 p.m. & Ashland man, 45, cited for criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, Webster and Stadium streets. The man had lit a wick of sage inserted in to a water-filled glass bottle and left it in the middle of the street. The smoking bottle resembled a Molotov cocktail. He also wrote graffiti on a nearby sidewalk. Sunday 12:19 p.m. & Transient man, 22, arrested on a warrant, East Main and Pioneer streets. Police contacted the man because of an aggressive panhandling complaint, which was unfounded. He was taken to Jackson County Jail. Sunday 12:28 a.m. & Ashland man, 26, cited for scattering rubbish in front of Atomica, 100 block of Lithia Way. Sunday 12:22 a.m. & Ashland man, 22, cited for unnecessary noise, 800 block of Clay Street. Saturday 10:15 p.m. & Two kids cited for minor in possession of alcohol at Britt Hall, Southern Oregon University. One was also cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Saturday 6:45 p.m. & Ashland man, 21, arrested for assault and harassment, 00 block of California Street. Saturday 3:49 p.m. & Burglary, 2000 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. CD player faceplate ($38 value) and portable CD player ($20) stolen from a vehicle. Saturday 2:37 p.m. & Damage to a leg of a pool table in Cedar Hall at Southern Oregon University. Saturday 1:39 p.m. & Graffiti found on the back wall of the Elks building, 200 block of Will Dodge Way. Saturday 1:08 p.m. & Graffiti found on the railroad overpass, Water Street and Van Ness Avenue. Saturday 12:26 p.m. & Section of fence broken on the Garfield Street side of the Ashland Motel, 1100 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. The vandalism occurred between — a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Saturday. Saturday 8:20 p.m. & Mazda RX7 reported stolen. The vehicle was found at 11 a.m. Saturday abandoned between the railroad track and the bike path in Hunter Park, 1700 block of Homes Avenue. Saturday 7:54 a.m. & Attempted burglary, 1900 block of Mohawk Street. Nothing was stolen from the carport that was broken into. Saturday 6 a.m. & Burglary, 500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Two lighters ($2 value) and a pack of Marlboro cigarettes ($4.25) stolen from a locked vehicle in the Safeway parking lot. Talent Police Friday 6:39 p.m. & Burglary at the Anjiou Club, 100 block of North Pacific Highway. XBox game, digital camera, computer printer, paintball gun and medication stolen.
