Red Robin's bobbing our way Owners of the Red Robin restaurant chain have filed plans with the city of Medford to build a restaurant at Medford Center. Greg Hubert of Redmond, Wash., filed plans through his company to build the 7,200-square-foot restaurant at the corner of East Jackson Street and Biddle Road, across from Hawthorne Park. The plans call for a lounge and indoor and outdoor seating for 307 people, said Jill Cochran, a Redmond architect who drew up the plans. "We're hoping to get started as soon as everything goes through," Cochran said. She said construction would take a little more than five months. The restaurant would be built on a gravel pad at the corner of the Medford Center property. Medford planner George Rubaloff said the company's plans need to be approved by the city's Site, Architectural and Review Committee. He said the plans may go before the committee in December. Red Robin is a Colorado-based chain that specializes in gourmet burgers, pasta and desserts. The chain has restaurants throughout the United States and Canada.
