Local gymnasts do well at state meet By KEVIN GOFF The Medford Elite Gymnastics Academy had five members qualify for regionals by placing at the state meet Saturday in Eugene.   Regionals will be in Olympia, Wash., on April 7-9.   Meghan Jones captured firsts in the all-around with a 36.825 and on the bars with a 9.55 in Level 10 competition. She picked up a second-place finish on the vault with a 9.25.   Also competing in a different age division in Level 10 was Johnnie Rae, who took fourth in the all-around.   Rae won the vault (8.85) and was third on the balance beam (8.8) and floor exercise (8.975). She also grabbed fourth on the bars with a 7.5.   Jones and Rae also helped the Level 10 team grab third overall.   At Level 9, Lindsay Warren finished third all-around. She grabbed the top spot on the vault with an 8.85 and a second on bars (8.55) while notching two thirds on the beam (8.4) and floor (8.3).   Also at Level 9, Jessica Touzet was sixth in all-around, first on bars (9.0), second on beam (8.7) and fourth on vault (8.55).   Heidi Guches excelled in Level 8 competition with a third in the all-around. She was first on with an 8.9, fourth on bars at 8.75, fourth on beam at 8.6 and third on floor with an 8.875.   Ten-year-old Stephanie Hodge notched an all-around score of 34.05 in the Level 7 age 7-11 division.   Hodge scored an 8.8 on the bars and floor events while earning an 8.6 on the vault and a 7.55 on the beam.   Competitors at Level 7 who also competed for Medford Elite but did not place were Lindsey Mariska, Jessica Miller and Sasha Drew.   Mariska scored 33.925 in the all-around, Miller 34.275 and Drew 31.35.
