Barnett Road in Medford, has renamed the senior residence Brookdale Medford. Two other former Emiritus properties, in Ashland and Eagle Point, have changed their names as well. Brookdale Senior Living acquired Emeritus Corp. and its eight-state organization a year ago, making the Brentwood, Tenn.-based organization the largest senior community operator in the U.S.  The former Wynwood community, under the leadership of Executive Director Amanda Randolph, is one of 45 senior centers owned, leased or managed by Brookdale in Oregon. Overall, Brookdale Senior Living Solutions operates 1,143 communities it owns or leases in 46 states with approximately 111,000 residents. The publicly traded firm reported revenue of more than $3.8 billion in 2014 and a net loss of $149 million. Emeritus at Eagle Cove is now Brookdale Eagle Point and Emeritus at Mountain View is now Brookdale Ashland. The new moniker makes the senior community more identifiable, Randolph said. We know that it means more people will recognize us as a solutions provider for seniors and their families in the Medford area.   MailTribune.com Writer Posted Feb. 28, 2015 at 12:01 AM » Comment or view comments Reader Reaction » STAY INFORMED Email NewsLetter Sign Up Today Sign up for our newsletter and have the top headlines from your community delivered right to your inbox.
