Windermere raises $677,000 for families, kids Windermere Foundation raised $677,000 this year for projects that assist homeless children and families in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. The foundation was established in 1989 by Windermere Real Estate to help the homeless in the Northwest. Since its inception, more than $3.2 million has been raised. A portion of each sales commission is donated to the foundation. Additional contributions from agents, staff and the public also are accepted.
