Crash kills Eagle Point woman An Eagle Point woman was killed when the pickup she was driving rolled Friday morning in the Sams Valley area. Gail Marie Kingsolver, 44, was dead at the scene of the wreck, which happened about 9:30 a.m. in the 13000 block of Agate Road, about four-tenths of a mile south of Lexington. Kingsolver was driving a 1992 black Nissan four-wheel-drive pickup north on Agate when her truck left the road on the west side for an unknown reason, Jackson County sheriff's deputies said. The truck rolled a number of times and Kingsolver was ejected. The truck then rolled across her. The initial investigation showed that neither speeding nor alcohol was involved in the accident. There was no indication she had tried to avoid anything in the roadway. But Kingsolver had gotten off a graveyard shift at a convenience store a couple of hours earlier, so police said it was possible she had fallen asleep.
