Ashland Festival of Light Parade and Grand Illumination: The 22nd annual Festival of Light will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, with live entertainment on the Ashland Plaza. Santa's Parade and the city's Grand Illumination ceremony will start at 5 p.m. From 6:45 to 8 p.m., children can share wishes with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Black Swan Theatre, corner of Pioneer and East Main streets. Barn Concert: Award-winning blues singer Karen Lovely and her band — guitarist Doug Rowell, bass player Timmer Blakely and drummer Justin Matz — will perform from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at the EdenVale Winery barn, 2310 Voorhies Road, Medford.
