Lyons helps Loggers roar past Days Creek Prep volleyball DAYS CREEK -- Junior outside hitter Jackie Lyons went 7-for-9 on kills and added seven aces from the service line as Butte Falls registered a hard-fought 15-12, 7-15, 15-13 non-league volleyball victory over Days Creek on Friday. The third and decisive game was tied 13-13 when setter Jessica Dunlap served the final two points. Elizabeth McLauchlan added seven aces and Jade Torres had eight digs for the Loggers, who improved to 2-0 on the season. PROSPECT 15-15, TRIAD 3-1 -- At Prospect, the host Cougars dominated from the serving line, scoring 21 of their 30 points off service aces to post their first victory. Junior Addie Stockebrand notched seven of Prospect's 12 aces in the first game, while senior Monica Applegate contributed eight assists in the Skyline A Conference match.
