Snowplow Sam and Learn to Hockey Skate is offered Tuesdays and Saturdays for ages 3-5. Basic Skills (levels 1-8) and hockey are also offered Tuesdays and Saturdays for ages 6-adult. Cost for ages 3-5 if registered prior to first day of class is $50 and $70 for ages 6-adult. Special needs skaters are invited to lessons on Tuesdays from 1:30-2 p.m. for a $2 per lesson fee. Running APPLEGATE VALLEY RUN — Seventh-annual 5K and 10K event held Saturday at 8 a.m. The race begins and ends in Cantrall-Buckley Park, which also receives proceeds from the run. Soccer RVSC SKILL CAMPS — Rogue Valley Soccer Club will hold four different skill camps in August in Medford for competitive and recreational players. Aug. 11-14 for competitive U-11 and U- 12 age groups. Camps for recreational players U-7 to U-12 will be Aug. 18-21. Cost is $40 per player. Also, a goalkeeping clinic for U-11 and U-12 competitive players will be from 5:30-7 p.m. Aug. 4 at Hedrick Middle School.
