UPDATE: Rogue River Ranch fire stopped Updated: Jul 25, 2022 04:05 PM A A ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ง๐, ๐ฏ:๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐ : All forward progress of the fire has been stopped. Firefighters are on scene, including resources from ODF, Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest and BLM Oregon & Washington. ODFโs Type 3 and 2 helicopters are also in the area and have been performing water bucket drops. Mop-up work will begin shortly. ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ง๐, ๐ฎ:๐ฑ0 ๐ฃ๐ : Firefighting resources were on their way Monday afternoon to the lower Rogue River community of Marial, where a fire was confirmed to be burning in heavy timber. According to a 2:50 p.m. update on the Oregon Department of Forestry Southwest District Facebook page, its type 3 and type 2 helicopters had reached the Rogue River Ranch Fire. From the air, it was estimated to be a 10th of an acre burning in heavy timber. Numerous resources were continuing to make their way to the fire, including multiple engines, a water tender, bulldozer, helicopters and a Helitack crew. Douglas Forest Protective Association and Coos Forest Protective Association also were sending resources, including CFPAโs type 3 helicopter and Helitack crew.
