Marilyn Mahurin Nunez Aug 24, 2006 12:00 AM A A Marilyn Mahurin Nunez Marilyn Mahurin Nunez, born in Flint, Mich., on August 17, 1941, met her Savior on Monday, August, 21, 2006 at 1:05 p.m. at Linda Vista Nursing Home. Her sister-in-law, Lee, was at her side. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Grace, 31, and three grandchildren, Sergio, 14, Andrea, 12, and Kayshla, 9 who live in Tex., three brothers, John, 69 in N.M., Ronald, 71 in Pa., and Elwyn, 73 in Ashland. Marilyn was fluent in Spanish and taught many years in Flint schools. She suffered debilitating RA with dignity and grace and was loved dearly by all who knew her. In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated with no memorial service. Although Marilyn enjoyed the fellowship at Ashland Adventist church since coming to Oregon in 2002, memorial contributions may be sent to Salvation Army, Flint, Mich., her primary affiliation.
