Hill, CEO of Travel Southern Oregon and executive director of the Crater Lake National Trust, has been appointed to serve a two-year term on the board of the Oregon Destination Marketing Organizations. The term begins in June. The Oregon Destination Marketing Organizations (ODMO) is a statewide network of convention and visitor bureaus and chambers of commerce directors supporting Oregon’s travel industry. Its mission is to provide professional development for ODMO members and leadership and advocacy for the convention and visitors industry. Hill also was reappointed to the Joint Legislative Committee for the Oregon-Fujian Sister State. As a committee member since 2009, she has been one of the regional and state leaders in developing the China visitor market. Travel Southern Oregon coordinated in March a 10-day familiarization tour for officials from Fujian. In late May, the sixth annual Southern Oregon-China Connection conference will take place. Hill, who has been CEO of Travel Southern Oregon since 2003, serves on several other regional and statewide committees, including the the Oregon Tourism & Hospitality Consortium. She also serves as executive director of the Southern Oregon Winery Association.
