Emergency services, Jan. 6 Friday Jan 6, 2017 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Theft — Andrew Monroe Scoggins, 26, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Scoggins Thursday on an additional felony charge of first-degree theft. Medford police originally arrested Scoggins Dec. 5 on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of first-, second- and third-degree theft and possessing methamphetamine. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $147,500 bail. Elude — Aaron Jovan Criss, 34, of the 100 block of Onyx Street, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Criss Thursday on an additional felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and an additional misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.  Jackson County sheriff's deputies originally arrested Criss Wednesday on felony charges of possessing heroin, attempting to elude police in a vehicle and for violating his parole on a weapons conviction.  He remained lodged in jail Thursday without bail. Drugs — James Jacobus Jacobs, 38, of the 900 block of Broadway Street, Rogue River. Rogue River police arrested Jacobs Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday because of overcrowding. Criminal Mischief — Zachary Todd Hallen, 19, no known address. Medford police arrested Hallen Thursday on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday because of overcrowding. Drugs — Amanda Leigh Atkinson, 37, of the 11600 block of Dennis Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Atkinson Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, identity theft, possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance, fraudulent use of a credit card, and second- and third- degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday because of overcrowding. Burglary — Paul Adam Medina, 31, of the 1200 block of Locust Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Medina Thursday on felony charges of second-degree burglary, possessing burglary tools, first-degree criminal mischief and possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday. Vehicle Theft — Patricia Diane Sexton, 63, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Sexton Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was lodged in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail. Crime reports Theft — 200 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen silver Dell laptop at 4:08 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $1,000. Theft — 800 block of Valley View Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 6:32 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a white Yeti 65-quart cooler, a large yellow jacket, black Burton boots, brown Burton snow pants and a Fossil watch. The loss and damage to the minivan's passenger-side sliding door window was valued at $1,075. Theft — 1400 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 10:57 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a 30-gallon bottle of refrigerant, miscellaneous furnace parts and miscellaneous hand tools. The loss and damage to a vehicle window was valued at $1,150.
