Jackson County reports 508 new COVID-19 cases By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Jan 20, 2022 04:28 PM A A Jackson County reported 508 new COVID-19 cases Thursday and two more COVID-19-related deaths. Josephine County logged 157 more cases and another death, according to the Oregon Health Authority. Statewide, Oregon reported 10,034 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, the third-highest daily count during the pandemic. The highest count was 10,428 cases reported Jan. 6, OHA data show. The state reported eight more COVID-19-related deaths, including those in the Rogue Valley, OHA said.
