Braislin John E. Braislin (Fa) passed away at his home in Jacksonville May 16, 2015 after a courageously fought battle with COPD. John was married and widowed to two terrific women, Shirley F. Braislin and Elizabeth C. Braislin. He is survived by his three children, Katie, Robin, and Tommy; five grandchildren, Andrew, Robert, Jonathan, Devon, and Mason; and two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Brinleigh; as well many relatives and friends from around the country; and lastly his sweet four-legged companion, Chancey. John and his second wife Liz moved to Jacksonville, Ore. in 1996. There he met wonderful new friends, continued playing music, golf, and taking care of his beloved pets; Cinnamon, Emma, and Chancey. John didn’t want a lot of “hoopla” in his life so in lieu of flowers please send donations to The Jacksonville Woodlands Association, In Memory of John E Braislin and Liz’s Trail, PO Box 1210, Jacksonville, Oregon 97530.
