April 5-June 7. Registration deadline is April 3. Maximum of eight teams in each league. First-come, first-served registration. Leagues are: adult upper and lower; 35-and-over; women; high school; 7th-8th grade; 5th-6th grade; 3rd-4th grade. Free-agent list available. Call Manny at 734-9709. SPRING WOMEN’S LEAGUE — The Rogue Valley YMCA is taking registration for its spring women’s league. The season begins April 3 and ends May 29. Cost is $250 per team. Dues must be paid by March 28. Call David Douglas at 772-6295. YMCA — The Rogue Valley Family YMCA is taking registration for its 7-12 grade boys and girls basketball league. Games begin Saturday. Registration ends Friday. HELMET TOURNAMENT — The Helmets’ open tournament May 17 at Cedar Links. Former players, opponents, friends and families welcome. Format is four-man scramble. LADIES TWILIGHT GOLF ASSOCIATION — Season kicks off March 18 with a "Post Patty’s Party" at the Bella Union restaurant in Jacksonville. No-host cocktails begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner to follow. Ages 11-14 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with cost of $115. Ages 15-up from 8:45-10:45 p.m. with cost of $115. Skaters must be able to skate forward and backward in full gear. Ice Skating THE RRRINK LEARN-TO-SKATE PROGRAM — Lessons offered for ages 3 through adult. Group size limited to 10 students per instructor. $70 for six-week session ages 6-adult ($80 if not pre-paid and registered); $50 for six-week session ages 3-5 ($60 if not pre-paid). Six-week sessions include six half-hour group lessons, 15 minutes of practice prior to each lesson and free admission to one public session on day of class. Call Tami Kuechel, skating director, at 770-1177. Running PEAR BLOSSOM RUN — Registrations are available for the Mayor’s mile, 2-mile, 5K and 10-mile runs. Final registration closes Saturday. Forms are available in Medford at the visitor’s bureau, YMCA, Parks & Recreation at City Hall, RVMC and at the mall. In Ashland and Grants Pass at each city’s respective visitor’s bureau, YMCA and Parks & Recreation. SHAMROCK RUN — Saturday, at Crater High, 9 a.m. Includes 5- and 10-kilometer races. Cost is $5 ($14 with T-shirt) if pre-registered and $8 on race day (7:30-8:30 a.m.). All divisions including wheel chair. Sponsored by Southern Oregon Sizzlers. Call Mike Barrett at 779-1214.
