In the 4th House District, which includes Central Point, Gold Hill and Rogue River, Republican Dennis Richardson received $51,788.33 to Democrat Shayne Maxwell’s $31,791.51. In the 3rd Senate district, Sen. Lenn Hannon (R-Ashland) raised $33,825, while his Democratic opponent Virginia Lemon received $8,950. In the 6th District House race, Democratic challenger Barbara Davidson has collected only $2,705 in contributions, far behind Republican incumbent Rob Patridge’s $27,964.75. Patridge and Hannon received many of their contributions since the May primary from political action committees, according to the contribution and expense reports filed with the state.
