Tredway grabs 35th FRESNO, Calif. -- Oregon senior Andrew Tredway finished 35th this weekend at the NCAA Golf West Regional on the par-72, 6,966-yard Riverbend Golf Club. Tredway, a former Ashland High standout, shot rounds of 73, 72 and 70 for a 54-hole total of 215 to lead the Ducks to a 13th-place finish with an 866. Jason Allred, another former Ashland star, finished 95th with rounds of 85, 70 and 70 for a 225 total. Allred, a Pepperdine sophomore, helped lead the Waves to a ninth-place finish with an 864. The University of Arizona grabbed the top spot overall with an 839 and Allred's Pepperdine teammate Michael Beard earned medalist honors with a 204. Oregon State tied with the Ducks for 13th with Anthony Arvidson's 213 leading the way. The top 10 teams from the regional advance to the NCAA Golf Championships. The tournament is May 29-June 3 at Grand National Lake Course in Opelika, Ala.
