More evacuation notices posted as Stouts fire advances Aug 01, 2015 12:00 AM A A Local report The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office issued a Level 1 evacuation notice to residents of Drew on Saturday afternoon. Residents living near Tiller Trail Highway, between mileposts 28 and 34, were told to be ready in case the Stouts fire continues to head in their direction. Drew is about 5 miles southeast of Tiller in southern Douglas County. There are three levels of evacuation notices given out: Level 1 informs residents to be prepared by establishing an evacuation plan for themselves and livestock or pets, designating a meeting place and putting emergency kits together. The kits should include important documents, such as family photos, contact lists, as well as supplies for themselves and pets. For more information, see www.dfpa.net.
