Puppet theater performs Jules Verne classic Jan 17, 2014 12:00 AM A A Tears of Joy Puppet Theatre will present two free performances of the Jules Verne science fiction adventure story "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, at the Craterian Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford. The event is hosted by the Storytelling Guild. Donations of gently-used children's books will be accepted. The guild then distributes the donated books to children across the county throughout the year. Visit www.storytellingguild.org for more information.
