There will be pizza for lunch after the presentation. A salmon art collage project consisting of bigger-than-life papier mâché sculptures made during the Beak Creek Salmon Festival in October is on display through February at the Central Library, 205 S. Students will experiment with colored pencils, ink and pastels, explore transparent, opaque, and staining pigments with colors on a palette while experiencing painting with watercolor. March 4: Oregon Shakespeare Festival will hold its first-ever "Family Day" for kids 6 and up accompanied by an adult at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 4, with a performance of Shakespeare's "As You Like It" at the Angus Bowmer Theatre in Ashland. Tickets are $15 and include a pre-show introduction to the play at 12:30 p.m. in Carpenter Hall, as well as a post-show discussion and a chance to meet the actors.
