October 05. 2014 2:00AM David Everett Hager David Everett Hager, of Montague, passed away September 30, 2014 in Yreka. He was 53 years old. David was born January 22, 1961 in Colusa County to William and Helen Hager. He attended Yuba College on a football scholarship before leaving to become a heavy-equipment operator for many years. He operated cranes for construction companies, working for Diamond Lake Corporation in Oregon, Johnny Cat Construction in Medford, Timber Products in Yreka, and Northern Crane. He also worked at the R-Ranch in Hornbrook. David was an avid fisherman and hunter. David is survived by a sister, Toni Luisi of Yreka; three brothers, William Hager Jr. of Yreka, Richard and Russell Hager, both of Redding; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a great-great-nephew. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the R-Ranch Stables Fund, care of Kara/Manager in memory of David Hager, P.O. Box 71, Hornbrook, CA 96044.
