Carl Russell Davison Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Feb. 5, 2015 at 2:00 AM Posted Feb. 5, 2015 at 2:00 AM » Social News Carl (Dave) Russell Davison, 83, of Medford, Ore. passed away January 24, 2015. Dave was born November 9, 1931 in Aetna Township, Mich. to Earl and Gertrude Davison. Dave served in the U.S. Navy for over 22 years retiring as Chief Petty Officer. He married Etta Perdue Davison on February 26, 1966. Dave and Etta lived in San Jose, Calif. After retiring from the Navy he worked for The Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose. In 1997, he and Etta moved to Portland, Ore. and in 2006 they settled in Medford, Ore. He is survived by his sister, Arleu Sias of Fort Bragg, Calif.; many nieces and nephews; his step-daughter, Carol Hamlin of Medford, Ore. and her children and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents; one older sister, Arlene Sharp; and by his beloved wife, Etta, who passed away in 2011. A special thank you to Horton Plaza for their thoughtful care and attention to Dave. A private service will be held in Roseburg, Ore. at a later date.
