Arley Roscoe Spain II Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Jun. 23, 2015 at 2:00 AM Posted Jun. 23, 2015 at 2:00 AM » Social News Arley Roscoe Spain II August 6, 1947 – June 13, 2015 Arley passed away June 13, 2015 in Salem, Ore.He was born and raised in Medford, Ore. Arley was stationed in Korea while serving in the U.S. Army from 1970-72. He graduated from Oregon State University with three Bachelor of Science degrees. Arley enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting with family and friends and “puttering” in his shop. He is survived by his wife, Susan of Dallas, Ore.; daughter, Angela Gates of Bend, Ore.; son, Ryan Spain of Springfield, Ore.; father, Arley Spain of Longview, Wash.; sister, Rita Conklin of Rickreall, Ore.; and four grandchildren. He will be interred at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Oregon. A private celebration of life will be held. Contributions may be made to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
