Motorcyclist named in fatal Ashland crash By Mail Tribune staff Dec 18, 2019 04:12 PM A A Ashland police have identified the motorcyclist who died late Tuesday in a crash as 29-year-old Ashland resident Jamison Peil. Peil was wearing a helmet when he collided with a vehicle at about 11:50 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Wimer Street and Scenic Drive, according to a news release issued Wednesday by Ashland police. Peil died at the scene. Police said Peil had been speeding before the crash. The release did not identify the other driver or describe the car involved in the accident. A call to Ashland police was not immediately returned.
