She spent most of her adolescence and teen years living in Trail, Ore. on Crowfoot Road. There, she spent many days riding dirt-bikes, and riding her horse in the back-country mountains with her family and friends. Some of her best memories revolve around the countless family vacations spent at Abbott Camp and Shasta Lake, where hiking, bike riding, and swimming were an everyday routine, among other things. She rode the bus to and from Shady Cove Elementary and Middle School, where later she would finish the first part of her academic career at Eagle Point High School. Before such things, she was a mere 16 years old when she was blessed with her first child; a healthy, beautiful baby boy, Trevor. She later continued her education at Abdill College where she became a certified medical assistant. Brianna later met her husband,Andrew Sumner, and they were gifted with two beautiful girls to add to their family, Karrlee and Maycee. It wasn’t until shortly after her third child, Maycee, was born that she was diagnosed with stage-4 cancer. Prior to that, she always enjoyed going camping with her family, rock hunting, taking various vacations, and spending countless hours at the Oregon dunes where she enjoyed riding her four-wheeler and making priceless memories with her loving family. Brianna will be remembered for her photogenic, flawless, and breath-taking smile, the laugh of an angel, the loving and endless devotion of a passionate mother, and the down-to-earth sense of humor that stole the hearts of thousands. Peace and serenity has been brought to our family and friends, knowing our sweet Brianna is with her true Father as our personal guardian angel. We are all looking forward to our sweet Sissy greeting us at the gates of Heaven. Brianna is survived by her beloved husband, Andrew Sumner; her son, Trevor; her daughters, Karrlee and Maycee; her sister, Amanda Schauffler; her parents, devoted mother, Pamela Draper and loving father, Brian Schauffler; her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and only niece; and a family larger than life, too full to list, full of color, spirit, exuberance, love, and uniqueness. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Trail Christian Fellowship, followed by a celebration of life at the Upper Rogue Community Center in Shady Cove. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund for her 3 children has been established and contribution details will be given at the services.
