Roseburg has little trouble with Eagle Point The Indians opened up their offensive arsenal in the first quarter, getting two touchdown strikes from Adam Hazel and an 11-yard run by Rod Cope for the first points. Hazel hits Blair Brundige for 16 yards and Joe Newton for 13. Cope led an Indians' ground game that produced 317 yards on 43 carries. He had 93 yards. On the other side of the ball, Roseburg's defense matched the stellar play of its offense. The Indians held the Eagles (1-4, 0-3 SOC) to 163 total yards and intercepted senior quarterback Robert Slayton twice. Sophomore Kerry Hall received his first start at linebacker for the Indians and he didn't disappoint, leading the team with eight tackles, including seven unassisted. Senior Asa Yraguen rambled for a 60-yard, third-quarter touchdown on his first carry from scrimmage. Yraguen finished with 87 yards on two carries. Hazel was 10-of-15 passing for 160 yards and three touchdowns. The Indians led 43-7 at the half.
