On Sept. 4, look for clay sculpture and earrings by Jane Sterling and mixed-media altars, shrines and mosaic mirrors by Leslie Gibbons at the Ashland Art Center; the mystical and symmetrical art of husband-and-wife duo Michael and Saliha Green at Houston's Custom Framing and Fine Art; stone sculptures by Dawn Ferrari and J. Ellen Austin at JEGA Gallery; and abstract paintings by Linda Lamore at Nimbus. Receptions for the artists will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at galleries and other venues.
