William "Bill" Patrick Nussbaum Tuesday Jun 21, 2016 at 2:00 AM Bill Nussbaum, 88, of Lake Creek, Ore. passed away June 13, 2016 at home with his loving family by his side. Bill loved living in nature on his homestead ranch in Lake Creek. He was very active in his church as head Deacon and Pathfinder Director for many years. He worked for the Steve Wilson and Dean Wilson logging companies, running heavy equipment for nearly 40 years. Bill served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1947, and was stationed in Japan for one year. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Martha Jean; his children, Stewart (Monika), Ashley (Biaki), Sidney (Cyndie), Tracy (Yukio Suzuki), Marcia (Bill Rogers), Kevin (Mickie); Richard Dodge; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and numberous cousins, nephews, and nieces. He was interred at Eagle Point National Cemetery June 13, 2016 where he sleeps until our Lord returns. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Shady Point Seventh-day Adventist Church, 14611 Highway 62, Eagle Point, Ore. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shady Point SDA School or Better Life Television.
