Future Comets claim state title Mar 08, 2017 12:00 AM A A The Crater Future Comets' fifth-grade girls basketball team won the middle school state championship Sunday in Redmond. The Comets completed a 30-1 season and claimed the school-based Silver Division crown over Redmond, 37-30. Abigail Winslow and Addison Dippel each scored eight points in the championship game to lead Crater. The program's sixth-grade team placed third.
